Frequently asked questions
Is anything sent to a server?
No. The capture uses the browser's screen-sharing API (getDisplayMedia) and the frame is drawn to a canvas on your device. Nothing is uploaded or recorded.
Can it capture a whole web page, including the part below the fold?
Not from a website: browsers only let a page capture what is visible on screen. A full-page screenshot needs a browser extension, which is on our roadmap.
Does it work on phones?
Screen capture from a web page is not available on iOS Safari and most mobile browsers. Use a desktop browser such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari 17+.
How do I make a PDF from several screenshots?
Capture as many shots as you need, then click Download all as PDF. Each shot becomes one page at its original pixel size.
